Greentube has continued its push to expand across the United States, gaining a Michigan state supplier license. The Novomatic Interactive-owned supplier is now legally allowed to provide its full suite of games in two US jurisdictions.
Indeed, with licenses in both the Great Lake State and the Garden State, Michael Bauer, CFO/CGO at Greentube is looking forward to the future.
He said: “Gaining our second US license is a milestone achievement for us and expanding into Michigan Is an important step in our growth strategy in North America.
“The US market is one with huge potential and one that we will greatly focus on to position ourselves as a leading provider of online casino content that will appeal to local players. We look forward to partnering with operators in Michigan and to introducing our portfolio to a new audience.”
Greentube’s portfolio includes its Diamond Rush product line, with titles such as Mighty Elephant, Oasis Riches and Mighty Sevens.
Per the company’s statement, this is just the start for Greentube in the US, with the country set to be a major focus for the supplier in the years to come. Indeed, the brand is currently preparing for launch in Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
Mobile gaming is a strong force in Michigan, with the state's Gaming Control Board revealing that online casino games generated $1.1bn in revenue during its first year of operation. Meanwhile, the state’s sports betting offering raised a total of $292.2m.
