Media company taps Britt Boeskov as its new SVP of Strategy.

Sports betting media group Better Collective on Monday said the number of shares and votes in the company increased during January.

As of Monday, officials reported the number of shares and votes in Better Collective A/S amounts to 54,833,888 following an issue of 208,731 new ordinary shares.

The issuance of new shares was made to satisfy part of the purchase price when Better Collective bought RotoGrinders Network. The company issued a Regulatory Release regarding this topic on January 3.

The company’s legal department added Monday’s notice re: shares and votes was made per its duty to make such items public pursuant to the EU Market Abuse Regulation.

Separately Monday, Better Collective said it has hired Britt Boeskov as Senior Vice President of Strategy.

According to Better Collective, Boeskov brings with her many years of C-level experience from Kindred Group, a well-known operator within the gambling industry.

Jesper Søgaard, CEO and co-founder of Better Collective, said with this hire, the company strengthens its ambition to further scale the business within the sports betting media industry, especially given Boeskov’s digital skills and expertise from the intersection between customer, product and technology, which is expected to be relevant in her new position.

Boeskov is scheduled to join the company on March 1.

“I am very pleased that Britt has decided to join Better Collective and look forward to welcoming her as a member of the management team,” Søgaard said in a statement. “She knows the industry and she has vast experience at management level driving digital projects toward end users. We are a growing company with very big ambitions and many ideas. Britt will become an important asset as we continue our future growth journey.”

Boeskov added: “I am excited to join Better Collective’s growing leadership team at this crucial stage of the company’s remarkable growth journey. Scaling globally while transforming the business to secure a long-term, sustainable performance are exactly the type of challenges I enjoy. I have followed the team from the sidelines for some years, and I am deeply impressed with the culture and ambition of the organization.”

Denmark-based Better Collective is a global sports betting media group that offers betting lines, information and statistics on its proprietary platforms: bettingexpert.com, VegasInsider.com, HLTV.org and Action Network. It has offices in New York, Miami and Nashville, and with its recent move into the New York market it is live in 16 US states and has subscribers from across the country. The company is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, and listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
