Marks the continued aggressive US expansion for the Swedish online gaming platform.

The iGaming platform, Internet Vikings, is further penetrating the US market after it was announced that the Swedish company has established a presence in the state of Illinois. This brings the number of US compliant states in which it is active up to 18.

The company has been muscularly moving into US markets since debuting in July 2021. With its 18th state under its belt, the company has proven adaptable to US tastes. Already in markets such as Colorado, New Jersey and West Virginia, it has been able to attract a good number of clients.

This expansion has been in spite of the fact that real-money online casinos are still only legal in six US states. Internet Vikings has been striking success with slot or table games that do not require a deposit but do offer the chance to win a cash prize.

Further aiding its expansion is the fact that service providers such as Internet Vikings are not required to hold operating licenses, rather, they need only have a client with which to work.

In Illinois, Internet Vikings already has two.

The ambitions of the company are not dimmed by progress. As the Head of US Expansion, Elena Kvakova, commented: “As a business we are both proud and very eager to see how rapidly we are keeping up our rate of expansion in the United States.

“We have no intention of slowing our pace until we have secured a base in all of the 21 states where iGaming has been legalized.”
