The new hires anticipate an expansion in the American market in the coming year.

OpenBet, the sports betting entertainment company, has announced the appointment of two new executives – Florian Diederichsen and Jessicas Feil – to its senior management team.

Both come to OpenBet from different backgrounds and bring to the table different areas of expertise.

Diederichsen, formerly of DAZN, has been appointed Chief Technology Officer. His remit is to further develop OpenBet’s modular sports offerings and to implement more advanced technology.

While at DAZN, he helped develop the company’s OTT sports service and was responsible for technical operations and video services on its Platform offering.

Feil comes from the American Gaming Association (AGA) and is to become Vice President overseeing Regulatory Affairs and Compliance. This hiring will come in use over the next year, as the London-based OpenBet plans a major expansion into the US market.

At the AGA, she was the Vice President of Government Relations & Gaming Policy Counsel. Her career began at Infrah Law, where she advised clients on issues concerning regulation, compliance and licensing.

The hope is that, through these new hires and other company investments, the experiences of customers will be enhanced and the company's reputation will become increasingly well-known.

As commented OpenBet CEO Jordan Levin on the new hires and the goals for the future: “Bringing Florian and Jessica to the OpenBet team changes the game and is a testament to the vision we have here OpenBet.

“The appointment of two highly-skilled and respected individuals demonstrates the ambition we have to deliver the next generation of sports betting entertainment to operators and bettors worldwide.”
