Media Troopers, a marketing agency which specializes in legal betting and eGaming, is now in the state of Connecticut, after advertisements of its seminal US sportsbook brand, PlaySugarHouse, went live.
The move marks an important step for Media Troopers and the Constitution State. The fledgling legal gaming business is sure to benefit from Media Troopers’ extensive knowledge in the fields of online casinos, poker and sports betting.
Connecticut is a relative newcomer to the world of legalized gambling. It was only in May 2021 when the state legislature approved legalization measures after a compact with tribal casino leaders in the state was decided upon. As of last September, both retail and online sports betting are permitted.
The marketing outfit is now in 15 states across the union, including Arizona, New Jersey, Colorado, Indiana, Tennessee, Illinois, Michigan, Washington DC, West Virginia, Virginia, Iowa, Mississippi, Wyoming, and its native Pennsylvania.
Group CEO Sam Segal struck an upbeat tone when describing the expansion into Connecticut. He commented: “Media Troopers is incredibly delighted to have been given this amazing opportunity to work in the newly-launched Connecticut legalized betting market.
“We are excited to get to work and operate in Connecticut and provide high-quality services to betting and gambling operators across the state.”
He noted the importance of the brand Media Troopers is now busy promoting in the state: “PlaySugarHouse was one of the first US brands we promoted, which kick-started our journey over in New Jersey. So what better way to introduce sports betting to the people of Connecticut through the outstanding PlaySugarHouse brand!”
