Vita Media Group, a Danish iGaming company, on Thursday said it has acquired Greenplay, a casino brand formerly owned and managed by Codere Online Management Services, an international gaming operator based in Spain.
With the signing of the deal, Vita Media Group said in a statement it is strengthening its market position both in Europe and LatAm countries.
“This December acquisition is a step forward in the continuity of the overall growth of the company,” Vita Media Group said.
Greenplay Casino is the seventh casino brand that will join the Vita Media Group family as part of the company’s affiliate division, OMG Affiliates. The two parties said all affiliates working under the Codere Online Management Services agreement of the Greenplay casino will be transferred to the OMG Affiliates platform. Once the migration is complete, all affiliates will be introduced to the new account management system.
The acquisition of the Greenplay casino brand is the third investment that Vita Media Group added to its affiliate division, OMG Affiliates, in 2021. Previously, Vita Media Group acquired the Trada Affiliates brands from the United Kingdom, and more recently, Affilisearch, a European Gambling Affiliate Network from Denmark.
“The acquisition of the Greenplay casino brand is a massive expansion of our own iGaming ecosystem,” Jimmi Meilstrup, CEO of Vita Media Group, said in a statement. “We are reinventing our presence in existing markets, and at the same time we are trying to unlock new market possibilities. This strategic investment allows us to be more creative and offer a lot more quality on the market in 2022.”
Vita Media Group is a lead generation company that works with top affiliate programs and retention models. Vita Media Group’s portfolio includes what it says is the first, and only, loyalty and reward platform in the iGaming industry, Ekstrapoint.com. The company is running operations in Copenhagen, Denmark, and as of 2019, in Skopje, North Macedonia.
