Kindred Group has agreed to a market access deal with Caesars Entertainment that will allow the operator to pursue immediate licensing in Indiana and Iowa.

Under the Unibet brand, Kindred will partner with Caesars properties Horseshoe Hammond in Indiana and Harrah’s Council Bluffs in Iowa.

Kindred will operate online sports betting and online gaming pending jurisdictional authorization.

The deal gives Kindred licensing access in Indiana and Iowa over a 10-year period.

Manuel Stan, SVP Kindred US, said: “We are thrilled to further extend our presence in the US together with one of the world's most renowned and diversified casino-entertainment providers. Caesars' geographical spread in the US gives us a unique opportunity to build our footprint, with Indiana and Iowa next in line and potential other states lined up.”

Kindred’s Unibet brand previously launched partnerships with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City and the Mohegan Sun Pocono.

Caesars will continue to offer sports betting under its own brand at its Indiana and Iowa casinos.

Chrisian Stuart, EVP Caesars Entertainment, said: “As Caesars Entertainment continues to gain state approvals for legalised sports betting in the US, we look forward to adding Kindred to our list of sports betting partners in certain states. “
