Everi Holdings, a provider of land-based and digital casino gaming content and products, financial technology, and player loyalty solutions, on Wednesday said it has donated $10,000 to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.
For 55 years, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children in Southern Nevada has been a community of hope and healing. Its mission is to transform the lives of abused and at-risk children, young adults and families by empowering them to create new choices and new hope in a caring community.
St. Jude’s Ranch said its latest initiative will be to build what it described as a first-of-its-kind program, the Healing Center, for the specialized care of child victims of sex trafficking.
Las Vegas-based Everi said its donation to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children is part of the company’s overall strategy to support communities across the country.
In addition to monetary donations, Everi said it collaborates with nonprofit organizations to provide other support and employee volunteers. The company also developed the “Everi Cares” Giving Module, which allows casino operators to provide their gaming patrons a simple platform to donate the change from redeemed gaming vouchers while allowing operators to create good will, support their communities, and promote corporate social responsibility.
“We aim to bring positive, lasting change to the communities in which we operate and like to support local organizations that are being innovative,” Randy Taylor, Everi’s president and COO, said in a statement. “Teaming with St. Jude’s Ranch for Children provides a direct impact in our community.”
St. Jude’s Ranch for Children is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that helps children and youth, ages zero to 25, who have been abused, neglected, exploited, and/or homeless, by providing safety, stability, and healing in a caring environment.
Everi develops game content and gaming machines, gaming systems, and services for land-based and iGaming operators. The company also is a provider of financial technology solutions that power the casino floor while improving operational efficiencies and fulfilling regulatory compliance requirements, including products and services that facilitate cash and cashless financial transactions, self-service player loyalty tools and applications, and regulatory and intelligence software.
