A similar roll-out is expected to follow in Michigan in the near future

Design Works Gaming (DWG) has continued its expansion in the US, with its games going live in New Jersey with Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG).

The launch is the “beginning of a push across the country’s regulated igaming jurisdictions, with a similar roll-out in Michigan to come,” a statement from the company read.

The deal means GoldenNuggetCasino.com players in the state now have access to a wide range of the casino content studio’s titles, such as Golden Grand and Shifting Hearts. The group’s titles are already available across land-based and social casinos, as well as regulated real-money online casinos in the UK.

“It’s great to be back in the US,” said DWG CEO Troy Zurawski. “We always intended to launch our games in regulated markets across the country, and New Jersey is a perfect place to start.

“Land-based and social casinos have already shown us how popular DWG games are in the US. Alongside Golden Nugget Online Gaming, now we’re going to show what’s possible in real-money gaming too.”

The launch is via SG Digital’s content distribution platform OpenGaming, with DWG content expected to be rolled out across other online gaming licensees in New Jersey in the coming weeks.

GNOG Vice President Warren Steven commented: “We are constantly continuing to grow our portfolio of iGaming content, and we are excited to expand our games repertoire by launching DWG games. This will broaden our content offering with DWG’s innovative features and exciting games available to our online patrons.”
