Penn National partners with NASCAR as official gaming operator

NASCAR announced a multi-year partnership with Penn National as an official gaming operator.

The deal marks NASCAR’s first partnership with a gaming operator as well as Penn National’s first with a professional sports league. 

As part of the agreement, Penn National extends its race title sponsorship for the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway through 2026. 

Craig Neeb, EVP for Innovation, NASCAR, said: “We’re thrilled to have Penn National on board as our first authorized gaming operator to strengthen our effort to increase fan engagement with a platform perfect for in-play experience.”

Penn National will launch a free-to-play mobile game called NASCAR Finish Line. which gives players a shot at a $50,000 jackpot for every race. 

The game will launch ahead of the Daytona 500 next weekend. 

Jennifer Weissman, CMO for Penn National, said: “We are very excited to enter this long-term, strategic partnership with NASCAR. We look forward to the opportunity to provide NASCAR fans multiple outlets for their fandom, including online on a new free-to-play mobile game and at our destination casinos and sportsbooks.” 

Penn National operates the Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway.

NASCAR previously joined an exclusive data distribution deal with Genius Sports as well as an integrity deal with Sportradar.
