Hard Rock launches first HyperX Gaming Lounge in Mexico

Featured at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, the lounge will guests to play on high-end PC and equipment.

The Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya has launched Mexico’s first HyperX Gaming Lounge in partnership with AIC Hotel Group and HyperX, the gaming arm of HP Inc. Open from Tuesday, the offering will be available for guests from Monday-Sunday from 2pm to 12am.

Described as a dynamic and interactive space, the HyperX Gaming Lounge features high-end PCs, popular games consoles, a VR station.

"The HyperX Gaming Lounge Riviera Maya brings unique value to the guest experience at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya that goes beyond just catering to kids and teens," said Frank Maduro, Vice President of Marketing at AIC Hotel Group. "The world of gaming and Esports has grown exponentially in the last few years, and we are thrilled to be ahead of the curve in our industry.”

Moreover, the lounge will feature a number of HyperX branded technologies including Cloud Orbit S Gaming Headset with 3D audio technology, HyperX CloudX Stinger Core gaming headset, HyperX Alloy Origins mechanical gaming keyboard, and the HyperX Pulsefire Surge RGB gaming mouse.

"We're excited to co-create a gaming experience that can be personalized for leisure travelers, with a great product and service partner in the tourism industry," said Wendy Lecot, Head of strategic alliances at HyperX. "The HyperX experience at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya gives gaming tourists of all ages an on-site gaming escape that is fun and relaxing."

This new offering equips the Hard Rock property to organize and host esports and professional gaming events, attracting influencers and media personalities.
