Hope is that Sportradar's comprehensive data platform will add to the usability experience of PointsBet.

Sportradar, the global sports technology mavens, have announced a multi-year partnership with noted online gambling operator PointsBet that will see the former’s data and analytics become the key point of reference information for the latter’s MLB, NBA, NHL, college football and college basketball offerings.

Among the tools that Sportradar offers in the deal with PointsBet include pre-match and live betting, odds suggestion, trading tools, live data, live match trackers, and live scores. All of these will work to better inform and thoroughly engage the bettor.

Also included in the deal is access to Sportradar’s Live Channel Online, a live streaming feature that is designed to complement in-play betting.

Both sides were excited by the opportunities now made available by the partnership.

According to Sportradar’s Managing Director of US Betting, Neale Deeley: “Like Sportradar, PointsBet continues to strengthen its position in the US betting market. With the popularity of in-play betting exploding in the US, having fast reliable, accurate data is critical to driving greater engagement amongst bettors. We look forward to working together to help PointsBet deliver a cutting-edge product to its consumers.”

Echoing these sentiments was CEO of Johnny Aitken of PointsBet USA: “The PointsBet team is unwavering in our commitment to providing the most comprehensive and fastest in-play betting experience. We are excited today to officially announce our partnership with Sportradar and look forward to enhancing those in-play betting capabilities alongside their team.”

Sportradar has been on a roll. The PointsBet partnership marks the sixth with a multi-state betting operator in 2021 alone.
