Move marks the first strategic partnership in the US for the European company.

Affiliate Betting.com has announced its first strategic partnership in the United States after it signed a commercial agreement with the Denver Post Media, the newspaper of record in the state of Colorado.

The aim of the agreement is to better educate the readers of the Denver Post about the possibilities and prospects in sports betting. There will be featured a betting hub which will publish articles as well as guides to betting for sports online.

The hope is that readers will be better informed about areas such as the compilation of odds, legal matters concerning betting, and ways to take advantage of advice doled out by professional handicappers.

Game Lounge Group acquired Betting.com in 2020 as part of its diversification strategy and commitment to expanding into the US market and beyond.

Betting.com is as Malta-based company that specializes in matters of intelligence surrounding gambling. Its arrival in America comes at a time when sports betting is on the rise in the US. While Betting.com has been busy acquiring licenses to operate in a number of US states, it chose Colorado as its premier market.

According to Betting.com CEO Martin Grozev: “We look forward to working together with The Denver Post in Colorado as part of our launch on the US market. Our customers are always at the heard of what we do, and we want them to have the best possible tools and knowledge before they bet online. “

For its part, the Denver Post is happy to be playing a role in which they are helping the growing number of actors in this increasingly popular pastime.

Said Sean Stead, the Post’s Director of Digital Advertising: “Our partnership with Betting.com will offer them a channel to provide thought leadership in the ever-evolving world of sports betting. We wanted to ensure that we had the right partner to engage and educate our readership as they seek out resources in this space. With Betting.com, we feel that’s exactly what we have.”
