First move into the US market for European B2B developer.

Shape Games is coming to Colorado, marking a first foray into the US for the B2B Danish mobile game developer.

With their vendor license granted by the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission, Shape will now be able to offer its front-end gaming technology to any licensed operator in the state.

In anticipation of this decision, Shape has recently signed deals with a number of operators, such as Bally’s Corporation.

Shape CEO Christian Risom, who made the announcement, was upbeat on the decision: “We’re very pleased to receive this approval as the first of multiple licenses we are pursuing in order to be a leader in gaming services to the US market.”

This move marks the first, though likely not the last, foray into the US.

He went on to note the adaptability of Shape’s technology to the US market: “Colorado is one step in our plan to provide the leading consumer engagement platform for the gaming industry as it grows in the American market. Our clients say that our platform is the most modern, engaging and consumer-focused engine in the industry. That stems from our origin as a consumer app working with companies like Apple, Red Bull and Ikea.”

Shape is already well established in the European market. Their technology is used by leading players, such as Danske Spil, the Danish state operator.

The company specializes in personalizing interfaces in ways that benefit the customer experience.

According to COO Morten Tonnesen: “Our focus is on bringing consumers app best practices to iGaming for the benefit of our partner operators and their customers. The customizable apps are designed with user experience at the heart of the design process and makes our apps competitive with the popular entertained apps that vying for tie-starved consumers.”
