Both deals will see IGT distribute a number of new titles throughout the US and Canada.

International Game Technology (IGT) has announced the signing of a multi-year agreement with Authentic Brands Group that will see the company produce omnichannel Marilyn Monroe-themed lottery games.

Concurrently, the gaming giant has agreed to a multi-year contract with Yggdrasil Gaming to distribute the supplier’s content in the US and Canada.

"Marilyn Monroe is one of the most recognizable female entertainment icons in history," said Jay Gendron, IGT chief operating officer, lottery, on the Monroe agreement.

"IGT looks forward to leveraging the legendary Marilyn Monroe brand to create exciting, high-quality games across all lottery channels for our US and Canadian customers and their players."

This partnership see’s IGT gain exclusive licensing rights to develop Marilyn Monroe-themed lottery games, instant tickets, draw-based games, and mobile titles.

"ABG is pleased to partner with IGT to create exciting omnichannel lottery games for Marilyn Monroe fans and lottery players alike," said Marc Rosen, group president, entertainment, Authentic Brands Group.

"IGT is a proven leader in adopting well-known brands and transforming them into extraordinary lottery products and experiences."

This agreement comes as IGT separately announced that the company will be distributing Yggdrasil’s online gaming content in the growing iGaming markets of North America.

"Yggdrasil continues to deliver on its growth strategy, and the U.S. and Canada are key territories for driving continued sustainable long-term growth, and shareholder value. We are delighted to partner up with IGT, the world's leading gaming supplier, who will have exclusive territorial distribution rights for a selected number of our best-in-class Yggdrasil game titles," said Fredrik Elmqvist, Yggdrasil CEO.

"As the online gaming market continues to expand in North America, we look forward to supporting IGT's PlayCasino customers realize their goals through our player-centric, highly entertaining, and award-winning games."
