PointsBet brings on former NFL quarterback Chris Simms for sports betting content

Simms will create betting content around the NFL beginning this week.

PointsBet has announced a partnership with NBC Sports to integrate former NFL quarterback Chris Simms into the operator’s sports betting content.

Simms serves as an analyst for NBC’s Football Night in America and Notre Dame football and is co-host of NBC Sports Radio program ProFootballTalk Live. PointsBet is the official sports betting partner for NBC Sports.

Simms will offer in-depth film breakdowns on teams and players and give insights for PointsBet customers looking to bet on NFL games and player props. Additionally, The Chris Simms Unbuttoned podcast will add a weekly PointsBet sponsored betting segment.

"With a presence across multiple platforms in the NBC Sports universe, he will help to develop up-to-date and entertaining betting segments that will reach beyond our key demographics. As the amount of in-play betting increases, today's users of the PointsBet app are looking for the kind of insight and information that someone with his experience can offer."

PointsBet has a significant presence on the NBC Sports airwaves, including integration on Football Night in America and the Peacock Sunday Night Football Final postgame show.

NBC Sports EDGE, a fantasy sports and gaming websites, incorporates PointsBet on shows including Bet The Edge: Blitzing The Board, which features guest appearances from PointsBet’s head oddsmaker Jay Croucher.
