The Canadian lottery provider will be the first customer to launch Inspired’s iLottery games.

Inspired Entertainment, a provider of gaming technology, content and games across land-based and mobile markets, has today announced an enhancement to the company’s partnership with Loto-Québec.

Already a long-term partner of Inspired, Loto-Québec will now feature the developer’s interactive casino content on its online gaming website. Thus, allowing adults in the province to utilize both the app and website to win lottery-based prizes digitally.

"We see our entry into the iLottery market, with Loto-Québec as our first customer, as an important strategic step for our company, which we are very excited about," said Brooks Pierce, president and chief operating officer at Inspired.

"Our management team has extensive experience in the global lottery market, which is estimated to be over $300 billion, and we view iLottery as a significant potential growth opportunity, poised to see higher adoption by lotteries worldwide."

Initially, Inspired expects to launch two iLottery games titled Scarab Treasures and Fruit Drop Scatterdrops in 2022.

"Inspired's online casino content has proven popular with our customers and we are glad to be their first customer in the iLottery market," said Anne-Marie Voyer, director of lottery products & development Loto-Québec.

"We are looking forward to collaborating with Inspired to feature some of our successful retail brands in their digital lottery games."

Inspired currently operates in 35 jurisdictions worldwide, providing games for approximately 50,000 gaming machines.

This marks another step on Inspired’s expansion throughout North America. Earlier this year, the developer launched end-to-end online and mobile virtual sports in New Jersey through a partnership with BetMGM.

"We have a longstanding relationship with BetMGM and they have built a great platform with recognized brands. We believe V-Play Plug & Play will thrive and we are looking forward to increasing our online presence in the States," said Pierce.
