Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady resumed 24/7 operations Friday, marking the upstate New York casino’s return to full hours for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic initially closed the property in March 2020.
Masks are optional for fully vaccinated guests. Unvaccinated guests or only partially vaccinated guests must continue to wear a mask.
“Many guests have asked us when we’ll be going back to being open 24-hours a day, and today we’re happy to announce that this Friday we’ll be going back to round-the-clock operations,” said Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady General Manager, Rick Richards. “We’re thrilled to be able to provide the added convenience of more gaming and entertainment hours for our guests.”
Rivers will offer slots and video poker round the clock, while table games hours are 8 a.m. to 4 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
The poker room will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Rivers Sportsbook will have self-betting kiosks available 24/7, while manned betting windows will be open 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday, 9 a.m. to midnight Sunday, and 10 a.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday.
Located outside the New York capital of Albany, Rivers Casino has approximately 1,150 slots and 67 live table games. The Landing Hotel is open daily 24/7.
