GAT Showcase in Bogota confirmed the reactivation of the gaming industry

3A Producciones, organizer of Gaming and Technology Expo and complementary events that have been taking place within the so-called 'new normality', reports total success in attendance, quality of visitors and extraordinary reception to the products presented by exhibitors.

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT, says: "We are aiming for a moderate and biosafe return. It has really been a hit. The entertainment sector definitely does not stand still. The need and joy for face-to-face contact was reflected in the faces of the operators who came to Bogota from many regions of Colombia. We were also surprised by the attendance of foreign businessmen who accompanied us in August at GAT Expo Cartagena and today are at GAT Showcase. We would like to announce that at the request of exhibitors and operators, this event will be institutional and we will hold it annually, in the second week of September."

Some testimonials

The testimonies of some participants highlight the success of GAT Showcase.

Germán Segura, General Manager of Corredor Empresarial, comments: "This type of initiative is very important for synergy, business and networking. We see how land-based is once again the protagonist. Although there are few exhibitors, there are very important brands such as Novomatic, Merkur, IGT and Winsystems that have managed to attract operators from Medellin, Barranquilla, Cartagena and Cali to Bogota".

IGT Latam's Marketing and Sales Manager, Rosa Burger, says: "This small format allows us a better customization, more personalized. In addition, we feel safe and we see that everyone has respected the required sanitary protocols. We are serving many operators interested in our products. Even though we have not reached the numbers for 2019, we see that Colombia is in a clear reactivation and has been one of the first countries to recover. Talking to people, understanding what are the new tastes of the player after the pandemic, is the raison d'être for us."

Henry Tapia, CEO of Universal Soft, adds, "We participated in GAT Expo in Cartagena and had a very nice experience. Now in Bogota, we have made important contacts to continue boosting our business".

Manuel Del Sol, Managing Director of Novomatic Colombia, said: "I think this format is a success, we all like it. I have been at the exhibition for several hours now and I have noticed a large number of visitors. The turnkey stand, where we only have to place the machines, is practical. The reunion with the people is the best thing, hence Novomatic's slogan this year: 'The magic is back'. Hopefully in 2022, GAT Showcase will be repeated."

Similar concepts were expressed by the Presidents of Asojuegos, Cornazar and Fecoljuegos, who accompanied the event full time and highlighted the excellent assembly of City Group Arquitectura, the company in charge of the construction of biosecure and homogeneous stands in design.

Winsystems closed successful transactions of roulettes and machines. The balance of Merkur Gaming, after an absence of two years in exhibitions in Colombia, is highly satisfactory. EvenBet Gaming and its staff, led by Manuel Jiménez, were also very active.

Alexandra Hernández, Marketing Director of GAT, thanks Mobadoo and Internet Vikings for their involvement as sponsors of the event.

3A Producciones promoted during the day its next event that will close the year's face-to-face business meetings. GAT Caribe will be held at the Westin Punta Cana Hotel on November 25 and 26 with an exclusive exhibition and networking to enjoy the natural beauty of the Dominican Republic. It also ratified the dates for the Gaming and Technology Expo 2022 to be held in Cartagena de Indias on March 16 and 17.
