Nevada brought in $937m of gaming revenue in November, down 3% year-on-year.
The state earned a record sports betting handle of $617m, which marks the first month that Nevada sportsbooks surpassed $600m in wagers.
Revenue from sports betting totaled $31m.
Nevada safely outpaced New Jersey’s November sports wagering handle of $563m.
Football accounted for over half of the November handle with $385m bet on the gridiron.
Basketball earned $167m in handle.
Revenue for the month would have been higher if not for the payout of World Series wagers, which costed sportsbooks $6.2m.
Table and card games produced $321m of revenue, a decline of 3%.
Casinos were hit hard at the baccarat table, where revenue dropped 23%.
Slots earned revenue of $617m, also down 3%.
Las Vegas Strip casinos earned $518m of the state’s November gaming revenue, hampered by a 6% drop off in table and card games revenue.
Downtown Las Vegas saw a 6% revenue decline with a pull of $52m.
North Las Vegas took in $19m of revenue, down 15%.
South Lake Tahoe suffered a tough month as revenue reached $14m, which marks a drop off of 19%.
Reno fared better than most of the state with revenue of $69m, down less than one percent.
