New content expected to be part of Q4 launch of Fubo Sportsbook.

Sports-first live TV streaming platform fuboTV, Inc., on Monday said it has signed a carriage agreement with AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain, the television home of the Utah Jazz, Vegas Golden Knights and Colorado Rockies regional game telecasts.

The two parties noted the deal, financial terms of which were not disclosed, comes on the eve of the 2021-2022 NBA and NHL seasons.

AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain will launch on fuboTV in the coming days, the companies said. fuboTV will stream AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain’s regional coverage of all three major professional sports teams in addition to other ancillary programming and behind-the-scenes content.

The regional sports network (RSN) initially will launch on fuboTV in Nevada, Utah and the surrounding areas, with additional markets to roll out in the future.

According to a statement from fuboTV, the addition of AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain strengthens its sports offering, which includes more than 50,000 live sporting events annually, with many streaming in 4K. The company says it has more regional sports networks in its base package than any other live TV streaming platform.

The agreement increases fuboTV’s local coverage in the Rocky Mountain region, where it already carries ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, alongside national sports networks ESPN, FS1, CBS Sports Network, the Pac-12 Networks and more.

fuboTV recently signed an agreement with ROOT SPORTS to carry the Seattle Mariners, Seattle Kraken and Portland Trail Blazers in the Northwest.

Subscribers can interact with fuboTV’s live streaming experience through predictive free-to-play games, which are integrated into select sports content. Fubo Gaming Inc., a subsidiary of fuboTV Inc., said it expects to launch Fubo Sportsbook, a comprehensive sports entertainment experience through sports betting, in Q4 2021, subject to obtaining requisite regulatory approvals.

“fuboTV continues on our mission to bring consumers their favorite hometown teams, alongside national and international sports coverage, at an affordable price,” Ben Grad, senior vice president of content strategy and acquisition for fuboTV, said in a statement. “Today’s partnership agreement with AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain will bring sports fans streaming coverage of some of their favorite local teams – just in time for the NBA and NHL seasons. We are thrilled to welcome another AT&T SportsNet RSN to fuboTV.”

Nina Kinch, vice president of affiliate relations for AT&T Sports Networks, added: “We are thrilled to announce this deal with fuboTV. We know that fans in this region have been asking for more ways to get access to the Utah Jazz, Vegas Golden Knights and Colorado Rockies and are particularly interested in streaming options. This deal now means that fans in all four of our regions now have access to stream their favorite teams with fuboTV.”

In addition to sports, fuboTV streams live entertainment and news programming and features more than 40,000 TV shows and movies on-demand each month.
