Parleh TV to debut October 12, ahead of NHL season.

Parleh Media Group, an independent content and production company, said it is preparing to launch Parleh TV, which it said will be the country’s first dedicated sports betting broadcast network.

The company said Parleh TV will be a free, online channel available to all sports fans 24/7 starting Tuesday, October 12, ready for the start of the NHL season.

Parleh Media is the creator of The Parleh, a source for sport betting news and insights.

Since its launch in June, The Parleh has hired dozens of content creators who have delivered hundreds of videos showcasing the latest hot takes, fun moments and top picks on events from across the sports world.

With Parleh TV, the company said Canadians will be able to access a full slate of sports betting shows and segments, including Puck Talks, The Parleh’s marquee hockey betting show, which will debut with insights and on-the-street segments for the seven Canadian NHL teams.

Other programs are scheduled to include Parleh Today, Parleh Picks, Footy Talks, Five A Side, Fast Money EPL and Spreadzies.

Officials for the company said in a statement the Parleh TV platform will feature integrated advertising and sponsorship opportunities, allowing for “impactful branded content.” All commercial opportunities with Parleh Media Group are managed by sports media consultancy, ThePostGame, which work with a suite of Canadian and US-based sports properties, such as NBC Sports, USA Today Sports Media Group, FOX Sports, New York Jets, Canadian Premier League and PGA Worldwide Exhibitions.

Parleh Media Group said it will continue to launch new shows and segment formats in the weeks and months ahead. Announcements related to distribution of the channel beyond the Parleh TV website will be communicated as agreements are made with partners

“From NFL over/unders and weekly CFL winners to dark-horse picks for the Stanley Cup, The Parleh has taken the unknown out of sports betting and is making it fun and entertaining for the everyday sports fan,” Kevin Kennedy, president and executive producer of Parleh Media Group, said in a statement. “Our social accounts are already a must follow, and now with Parleh TV we can be there for Canadians 24/7 to help them get through all the clutter and data so they can be informed and entertained when they make a casual bet.”

Eric Herd, president and CEO of ThePostGame, added: “We are excited to be working with the talented leaders of Parleh Media Group during this unique time for the sports betting industry in North America. As the explosive growth in gaming continues, there is great opportunity to develop cutting-edge content and partnerships for Canadian audiences and beyond.”
