Wynn Resorts features on a list created by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and Business Press.

Wynn Resorts has been named one of the top employers in the state of Nevada on the Top Workplaces 2021 list by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and Business Press. The list sees the operator rank above any of its competitors on the Las Vegas strip.

Concurrently, the operator’s CEO, Matt Maddox, has also been granted the Leadership Confidence Award in the Large Companies category.

The awards are voted for anonymously by employees who choose the top employer from 15 different categories including, company values, corporate governance, employee engagement and job satisfaction.

“All the recognition that Wynn Resorts receives is because of our dedicated and hard-working employees, whose collective commitment to excellence is the reason for our continued success," said Maddox.

This follows Wynn’s victory as Land-Based Operator of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards earlier this week.

A large part of Wynn’s workforce is employed at its Las Vegas-based casinos. The company’s Vegas properties feature 4,748 hotel rooms, 194,000 square feet of casino space, 20 restaurants, 11 bars, two spas, two nightclubs, a 560,000 square foot convention center, and the Wynn Golf Club. The company employs over 25,000 in Las Vegas alone.

Last month, Wynn Resorts announced that it has received a $1.5bn credit line form the Bank of China. This came as the Government of Macau continued to increase pressure on the casino operator.
