Also today, the Global Gaming Awards will see the industry’s best come together to celebrate the year.

Today, October 4 2021, the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) begins, showcasing some of the newest technology and biggest innovations available in the gaming industry.

Taking place at the Venetian Expo, Las Vegas, G2E is presented by the American Gaming Association and sees the gaming industry come together to showcase its offerings.

Simultaneously, the Global Gaming Awards, powered by Gaming America, will also take place at The Venetian and Sands Expo from 12:15pm local time.

G2E will see some of the industry’s biggest names come together for the first time since 2019 as the gaming world continues to bounce back from the Covid-19 pandemic. Companies such as Everi, who will exhibit its library of games, IGT, and Evolution will have booths for visitors to attend.

Gaming America has recently run a preview for the event; with the AGA’s president and CEO, Bill Miller signalling his excitement.

He said: “For 20 years, G2E has served as a highlight of the year for gaming professionals around the world. And after the year our industry has experienced, the AGA, in partnership with our friends at Reed Exhibitions, couldn’t be more excited to welcome the entire gaming community back to G2E this fall in Las Vegas.

“I’m excited to reunite the industry for what’s sure to be an unforgettable G2E. Gaming’s future is right, and I look forward to celebrating with you in Las Vegas.”

The Global Gaming Awards also take place today and will see the biggest achievers in the industry rewarded for an impressive year in gaming. Nominees include MGM Resorts International, Scientific Games, and Aristocrat.

G2E will run until October 7 and includes talks, demonstrations and networking events.
