Cordish has partnered with FanDuel to bring the fantasy and sports betting operator’s platform toits casino properties across the country.
The Maryland-based real estate company will roll out FanDuel Sportsbooks at Cordish’s Live Casino & Hotel Philadelphia and Live! Casino in Westmoreland County.

Cordish’s Live Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is a $700m resort located next to the city’s stadium district.

FanDuel already has a sportsbook at Valley Forge Casino located northwest of Philadelphia.

The Valley Forge sportsbook brought in $5.8m of October revenue and earned nearly half of Pennsylvania’s $241m monthly handle.

Cordish also intends to pursue licenses for online sports betting in Maryland and Washington DC.

Washington DC is poised to legalize online sports betting through its Lottery, while Maryland’s efforts at legalization have hit one snag after another.

Other Cordish's Live! Casino & Hotel and Entertainment Districts entities include Missouri- based Kansas City Live! and Fox Sports Midwest Live! as well as Texas Live! and Live! At The Battery in Atlanta.

All four of those properties are located next to major sporting stadiums and arenas.

If Missouri, Texas or Georgia were to legalize sports betting, Cordish and FanDuel would
possess prime real estate to implement mobile or retail wagering.
