Operator ranks #1 employer out of 90 companies in the state of New Jersey while ranking #2 out of 100 companies in Florida.

Hard Rock International has been named the number one and number two employer in New Jersey and Florida respectively by Forbes in its annual survey of 80,000 Americans.

Forbes’ annual list is born from a partnership with research company Statista. The researchers compile the award by surveying 80,000 workers from companies with more than 500 employees. The award is then separated into 51 rankings, one for each state, plus the District of Columbia. The final list ranks the 1,330 employers that received the most recommendations.

"It is a tremendous honor to receive this prestigious ranking from Forbes, especially as the results were driven by our valued team members," said David Carroll, senior vice president of human resources for Hard Rock International. "Hard Rock International is committed to fostering a work environment where people feel appreciated, and we strive to provide an energizing and supportive culture that in turn allows our team members to create memorable experiences for our guests."

The list also names Hard Rock International as one of the top employers for new graduates in the US as well as one of the top ranking companies in the ‘travel & leisure” industry.

Hard Rock International operates 241 locations across 60 countries, including the US.  Recently, the casino operator proposed plans to build a property in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Hard Rock already operates 12 casinos in the state and has presented its plans to the Indiana Gaming Commission. However, the group will compete with Churchill Downs and the Premier Gaming Group to gain the license.
