Design Works Gaming (DWG) has today announced the signing of an exclusive partnership with Scientific Games. The agreement will span three years and see DWG utilize Scientific Games OpenGaming platform to launch its portfolio of casino games throughout the US and Canada.
Scientific Games will initially launch DWG’s products in New Jersey before the content releases in Michigan and Pennsylvania followed by other states with regulated igaming markets.
Steve Mayes, partnerships director, digital, at Scientific Games, said: “Securing this exclusive deal with DWG furthers our momentum across North America. DWG has a wealth of knowledge on what players in the region want from their gaming experiences and the addition of their content significantly enhances the product offering operators can put in front of players. It is a perfect alliance, and we look forward to working and growing together.”
DWG, based in Las Vegas, currently produces casino content in a variety of verticals including video slots, igaming, Vegas steppers and scratch cards.
“When I founded DWG in Scottsdale, Arizona, the thought of launching our games in regulated, real money online casinos in the US felt like a distant dream,” Troy Zurawski, CEO, Design Works Gaming, said. “Over the past 16 years, I’ve grown DWG in this direction, slow and steady – but with purpose. As you can probably imagine, it feels incredible to be launching in the USA, even more so, knowing the proven success behind our products. We couldn’t have found a better partner to bring us home than Scientific Games. With their backing, we can now change up the game across North America, starting with this first launch in New Jersey.”
Scientific Games hopes this partnership will expand the user base of its OpenGaming platform. Recently, SG acquired Lighting Box in a deal, the company told Gaming America, that will contribute to its aim of becoming the world's largest gaming company.
