Penn National Gaming has opened a career center in Caernarvon Township, Berks County ahead of the opening for Hollywood Casino Morgantown, which is expected to launch by the end of the year.

The company is looking to hire approximately 375 new positions to work the casino.

Penn National is hosting the career center at a Holiday Inn as well as multiple table games dealer school open house events over the next two weeks.

The Holiday Inn Morgantown will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with operating hours expected to expand.

“We are thrilled to begin accepting applications for our newest property from residents of Berks, Lancaster, and Montgomery counties, and other neighboring communities,” said Erin Chamberlin, Senior Vice President of Regional Operations for Penn National. “We look forward to interviewing candidates for the vast array of jobs that will support our expected grand opening later this year.”

Chamberlin added, “Whether candidates prefer being at the center of it all or working behind the scenes, there will be a role for everyone at Hollywood Casino Morgantown. As a continuously growing company with more than 40 properties nationwide, team members with a commitment to customer service can benefit from opportunities for career growth at any Penn National location.”

Penn National is hiring for full-time and part-time opportunities, and “same day” employment offers will be given to qualified applicants.

Penn National has invested approximately $111m into Hollywood Casino Morgantown. The 80,000 square foot property will include 750 slot machines and 30 table games as well as a Barstool Sportsbook and race book.

Considered a mini-casino, the property is located off the Pennsylvania Turnpike on the way from Harrisburg to Philadelphia.
