Resorts World Las Vegas pushes back opening

Resorts World Las Vegas announced the $4.3bn luxury resort will open in summer 2021, after originally expecting to launch in late 2020.
The project is expected to set a record price tag for the construction of a Las Vegas Strip property.
Resorts World will feature a 110,000 sq. ft. casino floor, including a sportsbook and entertainment zone.
The resort is also set to include a 5,000-capacity theater expected to feature top entertainers, a 220,000-sq. ft. pool complex with a 27,000 sq. ft. spa and a 100,000 sq. ft. West Tower LED screen.
Resorts World will consist of two resort towers with 3,500 guest rooms.
Malaysian operator Genting Group is tailoring the resort to a Chinese audience with Asian-themed designs.
Wynn Resorts sued Genting late last year, claiming Resorts World stole its design from Wynn properties.
In January, the two sides came to an agreement that Genting would alter the design of Resorts World.
