Pennsylvania sportsbooks took in $19.1m revenue for October, down slightly from $19.3m for September.
The dip in revenue occurred even as sports wagering handle rose to $241m for October, up 24% from the month prior.
Online sports betting earned $199m of the monthly handle, while retail sports betting accounted for more than $42m of handle.
FanDuel Sportsbook at Valley Forge Casino brought in a state-best $8.2m of sports betting
revenue for October, including more than $8m from online sports wagering.
Sports wagering handle at Valley Forge grew nearly $30m from September.
Rivers Pittsburgh and Rivers Philadelphia (formerly SugarHouse) combined to bring in $5.6m for October.
Both Rivers casinos saw their revenues fall from September; Pittsburgh’s by 11% and
Philadelphia’s by 5%.
Rivers Pittsburgh led the state with $7.7m of retail handle.
Parx Casino took home more than $2.7m in October revenue, led by $1.7m from its online
sportsbook.
Online casinos saw their monthly revenue grow to $4.9m, a jump of 20% from the previous
month.
The Pennsylvania online sports bettor and casino markets became more saturated in October, with DraftKings and PokerStars Casino launching in November.
Kindred Group also just launched online casino Unibet earlier this week in partnership with Mohegan Sun Pocono.
