Caesars named exclusive sports betting, fantasy gaming partner of Fiesta Bowl

The Fiesta Bowl Organization has named Caesars Entertainment as its exclusive sports betting and fantasy gaming partner in the first-of-its-kind deal between a college football bowl game and a casino gaming company.

Caesars will host fan lounges for the Guaranteed Rate Bowl played at Chase Field and the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl held at State Farm Stadium, both in the Phoenix area.

The partnership comes weeks ahead of the launch of mobile and retail sports betting in Arizona on September 9.

Caesars has partnered with the Arizona Diamondbacks to build a sportsbook outside Chase Field.

The Fiesta Bowl Organization partnership gives Caesars sponsorship for one of college football’s premier bowl games. Caesars will become title partner of the Fiesta Bowl pregame parties.

"This is a new frontier in the college football space, and the Fiesta Bowl is again out in front with this fan-focused partnership. There was significant interest in the marketplace to partner with the Fiesta Bowl; where Caesars stood out was with its similar community mindset and a creativity toward setting a new standard," said Fiesta Bowl Chief Marketing Officer Jose Moreno. "We are teaming with an industry leader who is dedicated to working with us to elevate our offerings for college football and all sports fans across Arizona."

The 2022 Fiesta Bowl will be played on January. Game participants will be decided by the College Football Playoff Selection Committee.

"We're thrilled to work with the Fiesta Bowl Organization on this landmark partnership to bring college football fans closer to the game and build awareness around the importance of responsible gaming practices," said Dan Shapiro, Chief Development Officer of Caesars Digital. "These fans are unrivaled in their passion, and we look forward to offering Caesars Sportsbook to them this fall. Our offering provides a leading user experience where every wager gives players more through our award-winning Caesars Rewards."
