NBCUniversal Media has this week announced the launch of a new brand that will see the company’s sports betting, gaming and youth sports divisions combined. NBC Sports Next will aim to unify and streamline these aspects of the company’s offering.
The betting, gaming and emerging media division of NBC Sports Next will include sports betting, prediction and gaming resources for both sportsbooks and video game developers. The new brand will see NBC Sports EDGE, NBC Sports Predictor and NBC Sports Audio brought together to feature sports news, analysis, fantasy sports and premium content produced for sports betting fans across the US.

Outside of a focus on sports betting and gaming, the new platform will also feature content relating to youth sports in an attempt to enable athletes, parents, coaches and team administrators in the youth and recreational space to manage their organizations, collect payments, share schedules, connect with other families, find programs to participate in, and properly screen and train coaches in an effort to keep kids safe.
As well as this, golf will be a key focus, with services like GolfNow, TeeOff and GolfPass featuring on the platform.
