Hustler Casino, part of the Hustler empire founded by Larry Flynt, has announced plans to launch Hustler Casino Live, a new live stream poker show hosted by Ryan Feldman and Nick Vertucci. Beginning at 5pm PT on August 3, and running Monday through Friday, the show will be found on YouTube and be free for all viewers to watch an hour after the stream ends.
Hustler casino spent $1m transforming its casino’s poker room, named the Crystal Room, into a set for the live show. Hustler Casino Live aims to emulate television broadcasts rather than what one would see in a live casino game.
All who take part in the casino games will be handpicked by the streams’ hosts in order to keep the entertainment factor high. Norman Chad, David Tuchman and Bart Hanson have been lined up to be guest commentators.
"We have thought about producing a high-quality, all cash poker live stream for several years but were waiting for the right opportunity,” said Shaun Yaple, Hustler casino general manager. “The stars aligned when we began discussions with Ryan Feldman and Nick Vertucci. They are the absolute best partners and share our goal of providing a top-quality product for poker fans around the globe. Mr. Flynt spared no expense with this project. In fact, it was the last one he approved. He would be so proud of Hustler Casino Live."
A key focus on the project is security. Cell phones and smartwatches will be taken from production staff prior to the games and the show will be on a 30-minute time delay.
"It is a dream come true to have the opportunity to work with Hustler Casino to present a live stream poker show. The Flynts, Shaun Yaple, and the entire Hustler team have been amazing partners with a shared vision,” added the show’s hosts, Feldman and Vertucci. “Everything about Hustler Casino Live will be top of the line and will be the gold standard of streaming poker. One of Mr. Flynt's requests before his passing was to give the poker community the best and biggest games. In his words, 'I want to see white chip games here.' It's our goal to give him what he asked for—and what poker fans have been waiting for. We are so excited to get started and take over the poker live streaming world."
