The Las Vegas Raiders today announced plans to set up express transit routes between the Allegiant Stadium and five casino resorts located in the Valley. The plan will be facilitated by The Regional Transport Commission.
Named the Game Day Express service, it will run during the NFL team’s 10 league home games for the upcoming season, beginning August 14. Buses will run from the Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino, Boulder Station Hotel & Casino, M Resort Spa Casino, Green Valley Ranch Resort Casino & Spa, and the Red Rock Casino Resort Spa.
“We are proud to say we heard many in our community, and our Raiders Game Day Express service is the result,” said MJ Maynard, CEO of The Regional Transport Commission. “This service will help further alleviate congestion in an already busy corridor benefiting both residents and tourists. For those who prefer to leave the driving to someone else and eliminate the need to park, Game Day Express is an ideal option, providing reliable and affordable service. With five suburban locations, there’s a convenient place to catch the bus from just about anywhere in the Valley.”
A round trip will cost customers $4, while a one way journey will be half the price. Busses will arrive 30 minutes prior to the stadium's opening.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Raiders to provide Southern Nevada residents with a convenient, affordable and easy way to get to and from Allegiant Stadium,” added RTC chairwoman and Henderson Mayor, Debra March. “Based on the success and popularity of our similar service to T-Mobile Arena for Vegas Golden Knights games, many in the community have shared the same strong interest and enthusiasm for express service to Allegiant Stadium.”
Over the past year, the Raiders expanded its brand into the gaming market. 2020 saw the team partner with BetMGM in the franchise’s first official sports betting partnership.
