DraftKings rolls out in Pennsylvania

DraftKings has launched a digital sportsbook app in Pennsylvania, making it six online sportsbooks live in the Keystone State.
The operator enters the Pennsylvania market just as FanDuel and Fox Bet have launched their own products in the state.
DraftKings recently opened online sportsbooks in West Virginia and Indiana.
DraftKings CEO Jason Robins said: “Pennsylvania is home to two of the biggest sports cities in the world and multiple big-time college programs, with some of the most die-hard fan bases of all-time. We could not be more excited to introduce those fans to our top-rated mobile sportsbook and provide them with the unrivaled experience that has become synonymous with DraftKings.”
Pennsylvania lawmakers authorized sports betting in late 2017.
The state saw sports betting revenue increase by 144% month-on-month for September, up to $14.9m.
FanDuel’s sportsbook at Valley Forge Casino produced $88.5m of the state’s September handle of $194.5m. Valley Forge’s revenue was $5.1m.
