It is the betting company’s first partnership with an NFL team.

WynnBET, the mobile sports betting app owned by Wynn Resorts, has today announced a sponsorship agreement with the NFL team Detroit Lions. This partnership will see the Football team assign WynnBET as its official sportsbook and gaming partner with the launch of the WynnBET sports bar at Ford Field.

This WynnBET -- owned sportsbook and bar will launch this season for fans 21 and over and will be located near section 222. In the bar visitors will find brand ambassadors, live betting lines and food and drink. The space will also be used to launch public events at Ford Field.

The agreement will grant WynnBET access to a multitude of media assets including a presence on the Lions’ app, social media accounts and ads on the team’s broadcasting platforms.

The sportsbook will be the sponsor of a free-to-play game on the Lions’ mobile app. Fans will be able to win prizes such as trips to Wynn Las Vegas, single-game tickets, season tickets, Lions store credit and free bets with the WynnBET app.

WynnBET signage will also be found inside and outside Ford Field on gamedays, allowing the sportsbook to expand its brand throughout Michigan.

The Detroit Lions are an American Football team based in Detroit, Michigan. They are part of the North Division of the National Football League; they play their matches at Ford Field in downtown Detroit. The Detroit Lions most recently made the NFL playoffs in 2016, when they finished with a 9-7 record.
