Deal will ensure sports betting for the league is regulated.

The 3-on-3 pro basketball league BIG3 has today announced a partnership with sports wagering monitoring company US Integrity (USI).

The agreement aims to implement USI’s technology-led approach to protect the league against betting-related fraud and corruption ahead of its fourth season.

USI is already partnered with a number of other sports leagues and is based in both Las Vegas and New York.

The company will also play a role in advising the league as it aims to attain wagering approval across states with legalized and regulated sports betting.

“High-profile athletes, a popular sport like basketball, and great media partners like CBS & Triller are a great start to fan engagement,” said Matthew Holt, CEO and co-founder of USI.

“Sports betting takes that engagement to another level entirely. We were honored to have the opportunity to introduce BIG3 to regulators across the country who have legalized and launched regulated sports betting.”

BIG3 CEO Chris Hannan added: “US Integrity’s one-of-a-kind services have made them an ideal partner for the BIG3 as it embarks on a long-awaited fourth season. Not only is reliability and trust in our league paramount, but the fan data and insights will have long-term benefits as we grow the league in coming years. Our fans are a huge part of what makes the BIG3 so unique and putting them at the forefront of our priorities is pertinent.”

The fourth BIG3 season began last weekend at Orleans Area in Las Vegas. The league was founded by producer and actor Ice Cube as well as entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz.
