Biggest Strip property in a decade will open its doors at 11pm local time.

Resorts World Las Vegas, the city’s newest casino and resort, will open today. The launch date of the $4.3bn gaming, dining and entertainment resort was announced in April.

The property will focus on a cashless model of wagering, supported by modern mobile technology, and will use a mobile app developed by JOINGO called the Resorts World Mobile App.

The app will let guests pay for any of the resort and casino services from their phone, and allow the implementation of a loyalty point system for customers.

Guests can use 117 table games, a poker room with 30 tables, a sports book and over 1400 slot machines. The hotels there will also offer 3,500 rooms and suites.

The resort will also open as the largest Conrad Hotels & Resorts property in the world due to a partnership with Hilton that allows the casino to feature three of the group's premier brands including Conrad Hotels and Resorts, LXR Hotels and Resorts and a Hilton Hotel.

Ahead of the launch, Ian Carter, president of global development, architecture and construction for Hilton said: “Our strategic partnership with Resorts World Las Vegas underscores Hilton’s commitment to expanding our footprint and portfolio of exceptional properties. This will mark our largest multi-brand deal in company history, and we are excited to work with our new partners to create a distinct hotel experience in an unbeatable location for our future guests.”

The new resort has been securing partnerships since the project's announcement, which include Konami, Sightline, Genesis Gaming, ITG and NRT Technology.

“After years of planning and constructing, this monumental property, with some of the most innovative partners in the industry, will redefine the hospitality standard in Las Vegas with unmatched dining and entertainment, more variety of hotel accommodations than anywhere else on the Strip, and the city’s most progressive technology,” said Scott Sibella, president of Resorts World Las Vegas ahead of the grand opening.

The resort was developed by Genting Berhad, a publicly traded corporation founded in Malaysiaand is located where the Stardust Resort and Casino once stood.

The resort will open as tourists begin returning to the Strip at pre-pandemic rates for the first time since 100% capacity was granted in May.
