Lightning Box, creator of games such as Lost Temple and Respin Rhino, will launch its new slot machine Silver Pride in the Garden State.
Set in the Savannah, the 4x5, 1,024 ways slot sees players searching for elusive lions.
New Jersey will be the first state to gain access to this game, but it will later release elsewhere in North America. While searching for the rare silver lion, players will also find hippos, meerkats and zebras. When players find the lion, they’ll receive winnings and bonus rounds.
Lightning Box has been vocal on their pride for the game’s graphics and soundtrack, calling them stunning and authentic, and able to transport players “to the heart of the African action.”
“Silver Pride offers big cats, big prizes and big multipliers and we’re excited that it will be purring into action first in New Jersey,” said Lightning Box CEO and co-founder Peter Causley (pictured). “We’re grateful to the state’s Department of Gaming Enforcement for the quick turnaround and hope players really enjoy playing it.”
Founded in 2004, Lightning Box is known for creating slot content for developed land-based gaming markets and has partnerships with a large list of land-based and online clients. Recently, New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir Grewal joined with 26 other states to propose that the Department of Justice rescind legislation put forward under President Trump that threatened the legality of online gaming.
New Jersey has seen the benefits of online gaming since the outset of the pandemic, with online revenue reaching $970m last year.
