Scientific Games has reached an agreement to extend its partnership with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) for five years.

The supplier will continue to provide BCLC with digital sports betting and online gaming solutions, including player account management, through its SG Digital division.

BCLC will also have access to Scientific Games’ promotions, scoreboards and interface through its OpenSports product suite.

Jordan Levin, CEO of SG Digital, said: "We’ve worked closely with BCLC for years and we’re excited to continue building momentum with them in the Canadian market.

"Our gaming platforms and sportsbook solutions are a perfect fit for their large audience, and the continued trust, confidence and innovation on both sides will drive positive growth in the industry."

Cameron Adams, Interim VP, Digital and Enterprise Services at BCLC, said: "We’re excited to continue our relationship with Scientific Games and offer a comprehensive array of sports betting technology to our players."

BCLC reported total revenue of $2.59bn in its 2018/19 annual report, an increase of 4% from the previous year, as growth in lottery and online gaming offset a decline in casino and community gaming revenue.
