Properties in Las Vegas and other states to host hiring fairs to increase staff prior to reopenings.

As the Covid19 vaccination programme progresses, more casinos are reopening their venues at full capacity.

These relaunches are creating an influx of jobs throughout the country, thus seeing venues host hiring fairs to fulfil demand.

Four Winds Casinos will be hiring for several table game positions at their three Michigan locations on June 22 and 23. Hiring fairs will also take place at their South Bend location (pictured). The company said a dealer training school will also be offered there from Tuesday in order to train specialized training for game workers.

Trainees will be paid $12 an hour for attending the school. Those who accept a position with Four Winds will be eligible for a $2,000 bonus.

Job fairs will also be held by Station Casinos across three of their locations in Las Vegas. These will take place from June 15 to 17 at Boulder Station, Red Rock Casino and Green Valley Ranch.

On-the-spot job offers will be available in departments such as casino operations, food and beverage and housekeeping.

With a US Bureau of Labor Statistics report revealing that the Covid19 pandemic saw unemployment in Las Vegas almost quadruple to 11.5% in November 2020, an influx of jobs will be welcomed by the Nevada residents.
