Company’s OpenSports platform is behind recent launches.

Scientific Games Corporation on Wednesday said it has launched its comprehensive sports betting solution in Indiana, Virginia and Tennessee with WynnBET, the online gaming division of luxury resort and casino operator Wynn Resorts.

According to Scientific Games, WynnBET users benefit from the OpenSports product suite and managed trading services from Don Best Sports, as the operator leverages the company’s sports betting technology.

SG said these launches further enhance the partnership between it and WynnBET, and illustrate the growing appetite in the US sports betting market.

“Three new state launches in quick succession showcases the huge craving for sports betting experiences on the biggest sporting events throughout the US and beyond,” Cathryn Lai, SVP and GM US Digital at Scientific Games, said in a statement. “This is an exciting and important milestone in our partnership with WynnBET. These launches are also a testament to the power of OpenSports, with the platform ready to take the player offering in these three states to new heights.”

WynnBET launched in 2020 and is headquartered in Jersey City, New Jersey. Its eponymous mobile sports and casino betting app currently is available in New Jersey, Colorado, Michigan, Virginia, Indiana and Tennessee. The company said it is poised for rapid expansion in 2021 as it has several pending license applications in process.

WynnBET is an authorized gaming operator of NASCAR and has partnerships with the Memphis Grizzlies and Detroit Pistons, with more to be announced.

Scientific Games offers games, systems and services for casino, lottery, social gaming, online gaming and sports betting.
