The Tennessee Lottery general counsel Alonda McCutcheon revealed in a letter that the suspension of Action 24/7 sportsbook is “null and void” and it will be lifted.
The letter said that state regulators do not have an active investigation over the allegations made about Action 24/7.
It continued to say that Action 24/7s internal controls meet the requirements found in the Minimum Internal Control Standards.
The company was suspended by lottery officials in March due to allegations of debit card fraud. A lottery investigator suspected it could have been prevented if the company had proper internal controls.
Reporting no wrongdoing, Action 24/7 sued over the suspension and said it was not permitted to speak at a lottery meeting on the suspension.
The company even filed for a temporary injunction after it received the suspension in March, which was granted by a Chancery Court judge.
“We are pleased that this matter is coming to a close,” said Action 24/7 CEO Tina Hodges (pictured) in a statement. “We appreciate our loyal players and friends across the state for their unwavering support. We remain committed to working with the TEL Board and the Sports Wagering Council to maintain an environment of compliance and integrity for the Tennessee sports wagering community.”
