The deal sees Continent 8 achieve Amazon Web Services (AWS) partner status.

By achieving this status in the AWS partner network (APN), Continent 8 will be able to expand its services and capabilities.

The APN is a global community of partners that use AWS to enhance services for customers. Through the community, partners can connect with others globally, grow their business and reach new customers.

It is estimated more than 90% of Fortune 100 and the majority of Fortune 500 companies use AWS Partner solutions and services.

After completing the necessary business planning, training and certification, Continent 8 has now been made an official partner of the network.

Keith Stafford, head of cloud architecture at Continent 8 Technologies, said: “Joining the APN and being recognised as an AWS Select Consulting Partner is a strategic step for Continent 8.

“This alliance provides the opportunity for us to help our clients accelerate the adoption of cloud technologies, demonstrating our commitment to deliver the best possible solutions and services to igaming businesses in markets around the world, including the fast-growing US market.”

Continent 8 added that it will continue collaborating with AWS to enhance its AWS offering and to further expand its connectivity and security. It said obtaining AWS status aligns with its vision to be a multi-cloud partner to igaming organisations.

This news comes after the company strengthened its global team by hiring a new sales account director in Malta.
