The Wynn Golf Club on Monday said it has partnered with Ship Sticks to provide a discounted golf vacation as Las Vegas continues its comeback from pandemic shutdowns and restrictions.
The Wynn Hotel Casino noted it has the only resort golf course on the Las Vegas Strip.
The course is built on the land that originally was home to the historic Desert Inn Golf Club. It has 7,000 mature trees, many of which date back to the 1950s.
In 2019, golf course architect Tom Fazio gave the course a redesign, which “reimagined” 10 holes and crated eight new holes.
The course sits on 129 acres of the resort’s backyard. It includes several water features and streams. Par is 70 with a total yardage that ranges from 4,810 to 6,722 with a choice of four tees.
The signature 18th hole features a green framed by a 35-foot-tall by 100-foot-wide waterfall.
Ship Sticks is a shipping provider that delivers guests’ golf clubs and luggage from their home, office or country club directly to their destination.
Ship Sticks is offering a 20% discount on shipping in conjunction with this offer from Wynn Golf Club.
The packages are available now through June 30. They include two nights at Wynn Las Vegas or Encore, one round of golf, and a $100 credit to use on dining or at The Spa at Wynn.
Prices start at $595 weekday or $675 weekend.
As reported by Gaming America, on March 22, Wynn Resorts said it would resume full-week operations at Encore beginning April 8.
In October, Wynn cut Encore’s days of operation to Thursday through Monday due to depressed consumer demand.
