Key Points
- Dulgarian was favored to win in Saturday’s UFC matchup
- However, he submitted to his opponent in the first round
- The outcome raised suspicion after numerous bets against Dulgarian came in on sportsbooks before the event
- One sportsbook has issued refunds for losing bets on the fight in the form of cash credit
The UFC has released Isaac Dulgarian after his loss on Saturday during UFC Vegas 110, according to a recent report from MMA journalist Ariel Helwani.
According to the report, the official reason “was attributed to last night’s loss.” DraftKings cited “integrity concerns” as the reason for reportedly pulling all markets from the fight.
However, controversy has surrounded the event because the fight ended as predicted. Helwani reported that “a ton of money started to come in on Dulgarian, a sizable favorite, to lose in the first, which is what happened,” in a recent social media post.
Dulgarian, who was favored to win the weekend event, submitted in the first round to Yadier del Valle. The matchup took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Following the bout, Caesar Sportsbook Support posted on its X account that it would issue cash credit for customers who lost wagers on the matchup.
The sportsbook wrote in a recent post, “Mobile customers with losing bets on the Dulgarian UFC fight will receive a cash credit within 24 hours (singles), or within 24 hours of the last leg being determined (Parlay/SGP/Super Parlay) should that bet have won without that leg included.”
