Lotería Chaqueña signs agreement with Sportivo Charata to improve sports infrastructure
The deal strengthens community engagement through new facility upgrades.
Lotería Chaqueña, the Lottery’s authority at the province of Chaco, in Argentina, met with Sportivo Charata Civil Association, represented by president Miguel Ángel Quintana to sign an agreement improving the sports organization’s infrastructure.
The deal, signed by the Lottery’s president, Lucas Apud Masím, establishes perimeter fencing for the facility located on Republica Argentina and Arturo Illia streets. Quintana said, “This is a before-and-after for us.”
Sportivo Charata currently serves 160 people, including adults and children, practicing football across all categories. The infrastructure improvement represents part of Lotería Chaqueña’s broader commitment to strengthening sports facilities throughout the province.
Apud Masín explained that these efforts align with board directives, working in coordination with Chaco provincial government policies.
The perimeter fencing project comes as Lotería Chaqueña expands its support for sports clubs and civil organizations across the province. The lottery authority recently launched Deporbingo 2025, a fundraising tool designed to help clubs, sports institutions and civil entities through ticket sales and an attractive prize program.
The initiative, scheduled to draw on December 12, allows participating organizations to retain 70% of ticket sales revenue, with tickets priced at ARS5.000 ($3,3) pesos each.
Apud Masín added: “It is a solidarity tool originally intended only for clubs and athletes, but since 2024 and driven by Governor Leandro Zdero, it was decided to also open it to all public benefit entities.”
The program has grown consistently since its inception, with 315 institutions participating last year. The sixth edition will feature five rounds with prizes ranging from ARS5m to ARS20m in cash, culminating in a grand prize of a new double-cab pickup truck.
General Secretary of the Government Carolina Meiriño praised: “The versatility of this tool that combines entertainment with social good.”
