Monarch Casino & Resort sets quarterly record in revenue, adjusted EBITDA for Q3 2025

Monarch Casino & Resort has reported its financial results throughout the third quarter of 2025, having set new quarterly records in net revenue and adjusted EBITDA, while net income increased 14.4% to nearly $31.6m for the period. Net revenue for the operator was reported to be $142.8m, representing 3.6% growth from the prior year period, while adjusted EBITDA rose 8.3% to just over $54.8m.
“In the third quarter of 2025, Monarch delivered all-time record quarterly financial results. Net revenue increased 3.6% year-over-year to $142.8m, reflecting growth in casino, food and beverage and hotel revenues,” Monarch Casino & Resort Co-Chairman and CEO John Farahi said.
“On a year-over-year basis, we improved casino, food and beverage and hotel expense margins reflecting our focus on marketing initiatives, streamlining processes and utilizing technology. We believe that our elevated product, combined with exceptional guest service, will continue to drive increased guest visitation and sustained revenue growth.”
Monarch Casino & Resort currently operates the Monarch Casino Resort Spa facility in Black Hawk, Colorado, as well as its Atlantis Casino Resort Spa property in Reno, Nevada.
From its casino operations, Monarch Casino & Resort generated $80.1m of revenue for Q3 2025, representing an increase of 5%, while the operator’s hotel sector produced an additional $22.5m and rose 3.9% year-over-year. Food and beverage revenue also grew by 2.9% for a total of $33.8m for the third quarter of 2025, as Monarch Casino & Resort was also able to cut expenses from each sector throughout the period.
Casino expenses fell to $28.7m for Q3 2025, while food and beverage expenses for the quarterly period came to $23.7m for Monarch Casino & Resort. Selling, general and administrative expenses were $27.5m for the third quarter of 2025, with hotel operations costs were reported to be nearly $7.1m.
Total operating expenses for Monarch Casino & Resort throughout Q3 2025 were $104.6m, leading to an income from operations of $38.2m. The figures equate to a decrease of just over $2m from operating expenses reported for Q3 2024, as well as increase in net income from operations of 8.2%.
In August 2024, Monarch Casino & Resort expanded upon its partnership with International Game Technology (IGT) to supply retail and mobile sports betting services at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa and Monarch Casino Resort Spa.
The collaboration also brought forth the launch of Atlantis NV Sports and BetMonarch – Colorado, both powered by IGT PlaySports.
