MGM Resorts International has partnered with the Clorox Company as its exclusive guest disinfectant and hand sanitizer supplier.

Clorox products will be incorporated into MGM Resorts’ Seven-Point Safety Plan, a set of protocols and procedures the company developed for reopening its properties amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.

Clorox will provide MGM Resorts with disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer across the operators’ Las Vegas and US properties. Guests will be able to access Clorox hand sanitizer dispensers in hotels, restaurants, casino floors and other guest-accessible shared spaces.

“The health and safety of guests and employees remains our top priority, and we're thrilled to partner with Clorox to support those efforts,” said John Flynn, Vice President of Administration at MGM Resorts. “Disinfecting and hand sanitizing are key components of our Seven-Point Safety Plan, and Clorox's century of expertise and trusted brand make it a valuable ally in our ongoing mission to build confidence at our resorts and help keep guests and employees safer.”

The partnership announcement comes ahead of MGM Resorts reopening three Las Vegas resorts for 24 hour operation. Mandalay Bay, Park MGM and the Mirage will return to full hours beginning March 3.

Last month the Oakland, Calif. based Clorox Company reported 27% year-on-year sales growth for the second quarter of fiscal year 2021, which ended on December 31, 2020.
