Vermont Liquor and Lottery has reported the state’s sports wagering activity for August 2025, as bettors managed to generate a total handle of $13.5m, with in-state bettors accounting for close to $9.2m throughout the monthly period.
Out-of-state bettors produced the remaining $4.3m, equating to growth of 18% and 21.1%, respectively, from the prior year period. The total betting handle represents an increase of 19%, as baseball generated the most handle out of any sport wagered on by Vermont residents throughout August 2025, producing $3.6m and rising 3.3%.
